i just found out about it this year, but the butterflies stop and land at the same park every year after migrating from canada, on the other side of lake erie.
apparently we missed the peak of it by a day, but there were several handfuls of the little ones sunning in the trees on a cool late summer day.
this will surely be a yearly visit from now on!
i dont know that much about those butterflies, but how fascinating that they all migrate to the same spot every year down in mexico!
