Coelophora inaequalis is a species of moth in the Erebidae family. It is commonly known as the dissimilar laelapid moth or the red-brown coelophora. This species is found in the southwestern United States, including Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, as well as in Mexico.
Adult moths have a wingspan of about 2-2.5 inches (5-6 cm) and are usually reddish-brown in color. They have distinctive markings on their wings, including wavy stripes and spots.
