Macrophotography: Damselfly Hunting

IMG_20201224_074036.jpg

The orange marsh dart, the tiny predator, flew back and forth like a helicopter. In one flight, he managed to catch prey so easily. He eats his prey like chewing a snack. In less than a minute he devours his prey until it runs out, after which he flies again to sniff out other prey.

The orange marsh dart (Ceriagrion rubiae - Laidlaw, 1916) or commonly known as orange wax tail is a species of damselfly belonging to the Coenagrionidae family.
