A big HELLO to the Hive community!
Balls are my thing. I’m a juggler of a lot of balls a lot of the time. Sometimes I drop them and crush my toes. I’m forever dreaming of golden balls glistening like the sunshine on a warm day.
Okay, that’s the most poetic I can be. It’s not my thing.
A thank you to @brittandjosie for dropping by with helpful tips and inviting me to write an introduction. It’s taken a while because of my schedule and I’m not that great at intros or talking about myself, but here goes.
I’m a multi-tasking jack of all trades, specialized in busily juggling a lot of different balls, which is how I picked the user name wonderballs. I’m a P.A., as in personal assistant for people with special needs. Demanding job, where I’m often on call.
My sister also has special needs, which is how I got into this line of work in the first place. We were always close growing up, despite an eight year age difference. Since late 2021, when our mother unexpectedly passed away, it’s just been the two of us. I’ve taken on overseeing my sister’s needs since that time. Like I said, lots of ball juggling. Some falling balls.
I made a new year’s resolution that I’d make time to explore new directions, start checking out things on my want to try list, like digital art. I’ve been dabbling with that since the holidays. I’d like to learn how to blog and write better. Most of all, I’m looking forward to meeting new people and learning more about Hive as I go along.
So far, I’ve seen a lot of diversity of interests and people. Hive looks like a friendly community with a lot of promise. I hope you’ll be patient with me while I go through the learning curve. Cheers!
