Hola amigos de Hive. En días pasados viví una experiencia sin igual con mi familia, pues nos aventuramos en deslizarnos por el Canopy de Viñales. De inicio les cuento que mi esposo le teme a las alturas y a mí, personalmente, este tipo de deportes de riesgo no me llaman mucho la atención, pero mi niña, que tiene 10 años, estaba ansiosa por tirarse por el Canopy.

Al llegar al lugar donde está el equipamiento para poder deslizarse nos atendieron muy bien, los guías son dos muchachos muy amables y simpáticos y lo más importante inspiran confianza y tranquilidad. Ya tenía todos los “aparatos” puestos y todavía yo dudaba si lo haría o no.

Conjuntamente con nosotros vivirían la experiencia dos familias más, que igual tenían niños pequeños.
Ainoha, que es el nombre de mi niña, decidió hacerlo sola, pues tenía la posibilidad de hacerlo acompañada por el guía. El primero en deslizarse fue mi esposo, lo miraba mientras lo hacía y sentía que yo no podría hacerlo. Después se deslizó la niña y lo único que yo pensaba era que llegara pronto al otro extremo. Cuando llegó mi turno, le dije al guía que no, que no lo haría, este me miró y me dijo: ya tu niña lo hizo, tú no la dejarás sola, tragué en seco y le dije, pue allá vamos…

Y empecé a deslizarme por aquel cable, les confieso que iba muy nerviosa, miré hacia abajo y se veía tan profundo, que dije no, hacia abajo no, miré entonces al cielo y tampoco; entonces miré hacia adelante allí estaban mi esposo y mi niña entre muchos árboles, era allí donde tendría que llegar. Y llegué sana, salva y temblorosa, pero la sonrisa de mi niña y el beso de mi esposo fueron mi calma.
Para seguir al otro tramo hay que esperar que lleguen el resto de las personas, una vez todos reunidos nos dirigimos al segundo tramo. En este tramo se debe poner la mano enguantada en el cable, pues actúa como freno. Ya me sentía con más confianza, pero que le cuento, al deslizarme mi pequeña apretó mucho la mano y esto hacia que fuera muy lenta, eso fue otro sufrimiento, pensé que se quedaría en medio del tramo y no llegaría ¡Uff! Ahí sí que mis piernas empezaron a temblar… pero no, no se quedó y llegó bien. Y allá me lancé yo. El tercer y cuarto tramo todo estuvo bien, hasta me reí y lo disfruté. Y mi niña estaba feliz, ella sí que se sentía feliz.

I already felt more confident, but what can I tell you, when I slid, my little one squeezed my hand a lot and this made her go very slow, that was another suffering, I thought she would stay in the middle of the stretch and she would not arrive... but no, she didn't stay and arrived well. And there I went. The third and fourth stretch everything was fine, I even laughed and enjoyed it. And my little girl was happy, she was really happy.
De regreso a entregar el equipamiento nos preguntábamos si lo volveríamos a hacer y todos dijimos que sí y sí, claro que lo volveremos a hacer, les aseguro ¡Vale la pena!
