Hola hivers, mi nombre es Vladimir, cubano de 36 años nacido en la ciudad de Holguín. Estudié ingeniería en Ciencias Informáticas en la Habana, en mi querida Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, graduándome en el año 2011. Soy amante a las tecnologías, la naturaleza y al atletismo, por lo que suelo correr, montar bicicleta, y la lectura sobre temas científicos y avances tecnológicos. Tengo tres hijos maravillosos, Vlady, Nathalis y Leo, y he llegado a esta prometedora plataforma gracias a mi amigo de muchos años @limonta.
Hello hivers, my name is Vladimir, a 36-year-old Cuban born in Holguin. I studied Computer Science Engineering in Havana, at my beloved University of Computer Science, graduating in 2011. I am a lover of technology, nature, and athletics, so I usually run, ride bicycles, and read about scientific topics and technological advances. Mis primeros años de vida los hice en mi ciudad de los parques, donde inicié mis estudios, con muy gratos recuerdos de mis compañeros de la infancia y mis primeras maestras, Rina y Tirsa. Esos años fueron una bonita experiencia, agregando el tiempo que estuve becado en el Instituto Preuniversitario Vocacional de Ciencias Exactas “José Martí”.
Experiencia de Vida
Viajé por dos años a Venezuela por razones laborales, desempeñándome como informático en apoyo a la misión médica cubana. Viví por 12 meses en Caracas, una ciudad esplendorosa, y no había día que no me emocionara descubriendo sus maravillas y paisajes. Una de mis mejores experiencias fue conocer los cerros caraqueños, lugar donde se puede apreciar el cariño y la humildad de su gente. Son muy hospitalarios, ofrecen lo que tienen y no lo que les sobra. Conocí sus ricas comidas como la arepa, la cachapa, el asado negro, y el pastel de polvorosa. En fin la recuerdo como una de las experiencias más significativas de mi vida.
Early Years
My first years of life were spent in my beloved city of parks, where I began my studies, with very fond memories of my childhood classmates and my first teachers, Rina and Tirsa. Those years were a beautiful experience, adding to the time I spent on scholarship at the "José Martí" Vocational Pre-University Institute of Quantitative Sciences.
Life Experience
I traveled for two years to Venezuela for work reasons, working as a computer scientist in support of the Cuban medical mission. I lived for 12 months in Caracas, a splendorous city, and there was not a day that went by that I did not get excited discovering its wonders and landscapes. One of my best experiences was getting to know the hills of Caracas, a place where you can appreciate the affection and humility of its people. They are very hospitable, they offer what they have and not what they have to spare. I got to know their delicious food such as arepa, cachapa, asado negro, and pastel de polvorosa. In short, I remember it as one of the best experiences of my life.

En contacto con la Naturaleza
Una de las experiencias más bonitas que he vivido fue hace muchos años cuando tenía 12 y 13 años que fui a las montañas del municipio Sagua de Tánamo a la recogida de café. Nunca antes había estado tan cerca con la vegetación, los animales silvestres, además que fue la primera vez que salía de mi casa sin mamá y papá. Fueron 42 días durmiendo en un campamento en una zona llamada Granadillo, los cafetales quedaban alrededor de uno a dos kilómetros del campamento, y para mi edad me resultaban relativamente lejos; eran cafetales que estaban cerca de los arroyos y yo junto a los otros muchachos después de recoger el grano, nos íbamos, muchas veces fugados de nuestros profesores guías, a bañarnos a los ríos. Fueron realmente días inolvidables que a pesar de los años que han pasado los recuerdos como si los hubiese vivido ayer.
Proyecciones Futuras
Tengo como proyecciones estudiar el lenguaje de programación Python, y en ese sentido he estado buscado información sobre ese tema, aprovechando que tiene una comunidad muy amplia. Todos los días dedico alrededor de una a dos horas a su estudio. Me he planteado escribir en Hive sobre lo que vaya aprendiendo en este fabuloso lenguaje, aunque también me gustaría escribir artículos relacionados con la naturaleza, la familia, y mi ciudad. Otro de los temas que estoy interesado en aprender y hacer escritos es sobre la política exterior. La política es un contenido complejo, pero que goza de millones de lectores mundialmente, ya que, son temas del día a día que nos permiten comprender los acontecimientos en pleno desarrollo. In contact with nature
One of the most beautiful experiences I have had was many years ago when I was 12 and 13 years old when I went to the mountains of the municipality of Sagua de Tánamo to pick coffee. Never before had I been so close to the vegetation, and the wild animals, and it was the first time I left my house without my mom and dad. 42 days were sleeping in a camp in an area called Granadillo, the coffee plantations were about one to two kilometers from the camp, and for my age, they were relatively far away; the coffee plantations were close to the streams and I together with the other boys after picking the grain, we would go, many times escaped from our teachers guides, to bathe in the rivers. They were unforgettable days that despite the years that have passed, I remember them as if I had lived them yesterday.
My projections
My projections are to study the Python programming language, and in that sense, I have been looking for information on that subject, taking advantage of the fact that it has a huge community. Every day I dedicate about one to two hours to its study. I am planning to write in Hive about what I am learning in this fabulous language, although I would also like to write articles related to nature, family, and my city. Another topic I am interested in learning and writing about is foreign policy. Politics is complex content, but it enjoys millions of readers worldwide, as they are day-to-day issues that allow us to understand the events in full swing.
