Hace algunos meses en la provincia de Santiago de Cuba se desarrolló un evento: Máscara de Caoba.
Donde se exponen diferentes obras de teatro, de diversos grupos teatrales o de experimentación escénica en los distintos teatros de la ciudad, también se hacen otras actividades para honrar la memoria de algunos actores o directores de teatro que hayan brindado algo bueno a la cultura santiaguera.

Estuve asistiendo a las obras de la Caja Negra Teatral en el Cabildo, y también a una charla sobre el inicio del teatro en Santiago de Cuba y sus exponentes primeros.
En el Teatro Martí, estuvo El Teatro El Viento, de mi natal provincia Camagüey, fueron toda una revolución esas presentaciones, las entradas se agotaron con mucha facilidad y las personas por tal de ver la obra hasta se sentaban en el piso.
Yo no pude asistir, lastimosamente, tenía ensayos con el coro y mi tiempo no dio para eso, sin embargo a lo poco que pude hacer acto de presencia, lo disfruté muchísimo y me llevé momentos muy bonitos.
El teatro, es una de las manifestaciones artísticas más bellas. Así que si tienes la oportunidad de asistir a alguna obra, no dudes en ir.

Where different plays are exhibited, from various theater groups or scenic experimentation in the different theaters of the city, other activities are also carried out to honor the memory of some actors or theater directors who have provided something good to the culture of Santiago.
I was attending the works of the Caja Negra Teatral in the Cabildo, and also a talk about the beginning of theater in Santiago de Cuba and its first exponents.
At the Teatro Martí, there was the Teatro El Viento, from my native province of Camagüey, those presentations were a revolution, the tickets sold out very easily and people even sat on the floor to see the play.
I was not able to attend, unfortunately, I had rehearsals with the choir and my time was not enough for that, however, the little time I was able to make an appearance, I enjoyed it very much and I had very nice moments.
Theater is one of the most beautiful artistic manifestations. So if you have the opportunity to attend a play, don't hesitate to go.
