Hola mis queridos amigos. Hoy quiero contarles de mi visita al veterinario con Eros.
Mi perrito Eros, tiene 7 años y es costumbre cada cinco meses realizar una revisión y desparasitar. Él da señales de cuando ya le toca su visita al especialista porque se pone triste, ansioso y todo el cuerpo le pica. Cuando le pongo la correa, sale muy dispuesto a dar el paseo, aunque la distancia sea larga, el quiere marcar todos los terrenos por dónde pasa 😂.
No le gusta que lo cargue, pero por precaución hay tramos en los que lo tengo que tomar en brazos porque pasan perros más grandes que él y quiere fajarse, es bastante busca pleitos, a pesar de lo pequeño que es y también porque la carretera a veces está caliente y no quiero que se haga daño en las paticas.
El lugar al que íbamos queda lejos de mi casa, más o menos a dos kilómetros. No encontré un transporte que nos llevara por lo que tuvimos que ir caminando. Siempre se disfruta un paseo por los lugares que habitualmente no recorremos, eso me permitió hacer algunas fotos.
Cuando llego a este pequeño parque, ya sé que me queda menos por caminar, la distancia más larga quedó atrás. Para los que me leen y conocen Pinar del Río, voy del Llamazares a Galeano. La veterinaria que atiende a Eros, se llama Aniuris y su clínica es una de las que más reputación tiene actualmente, el ambiente en la sala de espera es agradable a la vista.
Hay una cotorra, y muchas plantas ornamentales que ambientan el lugar. También un estante donde venden todo tipo de artículos para las mascotas. He visitado otras clínicas y son más improvisadas: en garajes o en el portal de una casa de vivienda, claro esos son los particulares. Por supuesto que existe una clínica veterinaria que si tiene condiciones en estructura porque como está la situación hay muy pocos insumos. Por eso, prefiero llevar a mi mascota a un lugar que aunque tengo que pagar más, la atención es mejor y con medicamentos.
Habían unas cuantas personas con sus mascotas, algunas muy inquietas y sanas, solo estaban como yo para desparasitar, pero también había un perrito con avanzada edad y delicado de salud. Sus dueños con mucho amor, le estaban dando todos los cuidados para que mejore. Cuando le tocó el turno a Eros la doctora también le revisó los dientes y me dijo que era necesario hacerle una limpieza bucal y que tenía que hacerle también la extracción de una muelita, la tiene en malas condiciones. Ese procedimiento es caro, pero yo sé que es necesario por su salud, el tiene una malformación en la mandíbula por lo que le trae problemas de ese tipo a sus dientes y muelas.
Esa cita la dejamos para el día 28, o sea, para el jueves que viene. Tendré que buscar un transporte porque anestesiado pesa mucho y quiero que haga el viaje cómodo.
De regreso a casa, ví a unos niños jugando con sus bicicletas y recordé a @nanixxx y me la imaginé de niña dándole raya a todos 😂.
Amigos, mi Eros aunque se estresa cuando está sobre la mesa de la veterinaria, se porta muy bien y sale súper contento. Tuve que cargarlo todo el camino de vuelta porque estaba cansado, pero yo disfruto esos momentos para sentir su calor y abrazarlo mucho, normalmente no le gusta que lo carguen. Yo lo quiero mucho y hago todo lo que esté a mi alcance para que tenga una vida plena y goce de buena salud. He gives signs of when it is time for his visit to the specialist because he gets sad, anxious and his whole body itches. When I put him on the leash, he is very willing to go for a walk, even if the distance is long, he wants to mark all the places he passes 😂.
He doesn't like to be carried, but as a precaution there are stretches where I have to take him in my arms because dogs bigger than him pass by and he wants to get into fights, he is quite a troublemaker, despite how small he is, and also because the road is sometimes hot and I don't want him to hurt his paws.
The place we were going to is far from my house, about two kilometers away. I couldn't find transportation to take us there, so we had to walk. It is always nice to walk around the places we usually do not go, so I was able to take some pictures.
When I arrive at this small park, I know that I have less to walk, the longest distance is behind me. For those who read me and know Pinar del Río, I go from Llamazares to Galeano. There were a few people with their pets, some very restless and healthy, they were just like me to deworm, but there was also a little dog with advanced age and delicate health. His owners, with much love, were giving him all the care he needed to get better. When it was Eros' turn, the doctor also checked his teeth and told me that it was necessary to do an oral cleaning and that she also had to extract one of his molars, he has it in bad conditions. That procedure is expensive, but I know it is necessary for his health, he has a malformation in his jaw so he has problems with his teeth and molars.
We left that appointment for the 28th, that is, for next Thursday. I'll have to find a ride because under anesthesia he's heavy and I want him to make the trip comfortable.
On the way back home, I saw some kids playing with their bikes and remembered @nanixxx and imagined her as a kid giving them all scratches 😂.
Friends, my Eros even though he gets stressed when he is on the vet's table, he is very well behaved and leaves super happy. I had to carry him all the way back because he was tired, but I enjoy those moments to feel his warmth and hug him a lot, he usually doesn't like to be carried. I love him very much and I do everything in my power to give him a full life and good health.
