Hola gente linda de Hive!!

Hoy vengo a contarle sobre uno de los proyectos que comencé recientemente: mi carrera universitaria. En septiembre del 2022 me enteré de las convocatorias de inscripción para poder cursar la carrera que deseaba en una modalidad que me ofrecía justo lo que estaba buscando: el curso por encuentro.

Qué es el curso por encuentro(CPE)?

Se trata de una modalidad de estudio la cual tiene ciertas características. Entre lo bueno que tiene esta la característica que las horas de clases se van a reducir a un solo día a la semana lo cual permitirá a los estudiantes de disponer de más tiempo para trabajar y poder dedicar a muchas actividades que consideres importante. Pero esto también es una desventaja en sí, las horas que pasarás con los profesores son muy reducidas y muchos contenidos los tendrás que entender y comprender por ti mismo y eso a veces puede ser muy difícil, también no están disponibles todas las carreras que se ofertan en el curso regular diurno(que se compone por recibir clases en la mayoría de días de la semana).

Cómo entrar?

Hay varias maneras de matricular: por inscripción propia o mediante una vacante de superación que te ofrezca tu centro de trabajo. Cuales son las diferencias? En el caso de que sea el centro de trabajo te van a ofrecer carreras que cumplan con el perfil y necesidad del mismo. Sin embargo mediante una inscripción propia puedes aplicar a la carrera que desees para empezar el proceso de selección.

Cuáles son los requisitos para aplicar?

Debes tener los siguientes documentos:

• carnet de identidad.
• documento que avale como que posees un nivel medio superior y una fotocopia del mismo(ya sea mediante el Pre-universitario, Politécnico o Facultad Obrera Campesina).
• 2 fotos.
• certificación de notas y una fotocopia del mismo.

Cúando aplicar?

Los días en los que esta disponible el proceso de inscripción son definidas por la misma universidad aunque se puede suponer que debe ser a partir de septiembre del 2023 si deseas aplicar para el próximo curso. Sin embargo la mayoría de las universidades poseen un sitio web y espacios en las redes sociales así que lo más sensato es que si estas interesado en aplicar a la misma estés pendientes de estos ya que solo ellos pueden definir con certeza cuando será.

Cómo es el proceso de selección?

Consiste en recaudar todas las solicitudes para aplicar a las carreras ya ofertadas con anterioridad y luego según las vacantes que disponen realizar un escalafón(que no es más que una lista donde se colocan por orden descendente los promedios generales correspondientes a la enseñanza media). Supongamos que ofertan 20 plazas de Ingeniería en Telecomunicaciones y Electrónica, pues luego de tener todas las solicitudes de las mismas se realizara el escalafón y las primeras 20 personas con el promedio más alto podrán aplicar a la misma.

Y luego que te seleccionan qué?

Pues tendrás que separar que realizar la matrícula en la facultad donde se estudia la carrera a la cual aplicaste. Qué debes llevar? Solo 2 fotos. Y te entregarán tu carnet que te avala como universitario y te informarán que día y hora es el que corresponde que vayas a recibir las clases.

Vale la pena?

Creo que es una pregunta muy compleja de responder, lamentablemente la opinión: "no vale tanto esfuerzo para al final no cobrar casi nada", esta muy generalizada. Mi opinión sería que uno debe realizar lo que le gusta, aunque aparentemente no recibas algo equivalente a lo que das. Esto no significa que tengas que ir a la universidad obligatoria-mente, significa que debes trabajar en la clase de persona que deseas ser, si la universidad puede ayudarte a cumplirlo no te detengas y si no es así pues no te desanimes y busca con esfuerzo cual es el camino que te va a ayudar.

It consists of collecting all the applications to apply to the careers already offered previously and then according to the vacancies available, a ranking is made (which is nothing more than a list where the general averages corresponding to the high school are placed in descending order). Let's say they offer 20 places for Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering, then after having all the applications for the same, the ranking will be made and the first 20 people with the highest average will be able to apply for it.

And then they select you for what?

Well, you'll have to separate what to do to enroll in the faculty where the career you applied for is studied. What do you have to take? Just 2 pictures. And they will give you your card that endorses you as a university student and they will inform you what day and time it is that you go to receive the classes.

Is it worth it?

I think it's a very complex question to answer, unfortunately the opinion: "it's not worth so much effort to finally not get paid almost anything", is very generalized. My opinion would be that one should do what he likes, even if apparently you do not receive something equivalent to what you give. This does not mean that you have to go to university necessarily, it means that you should work on the class of person you want to be, if the university can help you achieve it do not stop and if it is not so do not be discouraged and look for the path that will help you with effort.
