¿Cómo en medio de tanta crisis de todo tipo en Cuba, y que el pan que recibimos casi ni existe, también nos van a quitar el "circo"? Pues eso es lo que se acaba de publicar en la más reciente Gaceta Oficial de la República, en la cual se regula entre otras cosas, las actividades económicas que se prohíben para los actores económicos del sector privado (no estatal).
Resumidamente les cuento que entre las famosas actividades restringidas se encuentra la de paquetero - copytodo, banquero-gestor de contenido multimedia u otro término que les prefieran decir en cualquier región de nuestra islita, esto dicho obviamente en las palabras técnicas propias de los juristas. How in the midst of so many crises of all kinds in Cuba, and that the bread we receive hardly exists, are they also going to take away the "circus" from us? Si nos ponemos a pensar este tipo de trabajo no es nada fácil al contrario de lo que muchas personas pueden pensar. Esto consume alma y vida de los que se dedican a grabarnos las series y películas, pues buscar y encontrar contenido multimedia de alta calidad y demanda requiere tiempo y movimiento en la calle, más si además lo realiza una sola persona. Sin contar que necesitan mantener sus dispositivos libres de virus y malwares para asegurar un buen rendimiento de los mismos así como para no infectar las memorias o discos duros de los clientes.
A eso súmenle que muchas veces los formatos en los que se encuentra el contenido no puede ser leído por los reproductores de los clientes por lo que se le agrega al servicio la conversión a veces de manera premeditada ( se sabe esta información de antemano) del audio o video solicitado.
Ahora, esta actividad que hasta hace poquito era legal, constituía fuente de empleo para los jóvenes en los barrios, aportaba al presupuesto estatal de alguna forma u otra en el pago de tributos y en sentido general nos permitía a todos ahorrar muchísimo en datos móviles de internet y más con las tarifas tan caras de nuestra empresa suministradora de red.

Add to that the fact that many times the formats in which the content is found cannot be read by the client's players, so the service adds the conversion of the audio or video requested, sometimes in a premeditated way (this information is known beforehand).
Now, this activity that until recently was legal, was a source of employment for young people in the neighborhoods, contributed to the state budget in one way or another in the payment of taxes and in general allowed us all to save a lot on mobile internet data and more with the very expensive rates of our network provider.
¿Saben que creo que va a pasar? Claro. Los paqueteros seguirán vendiendo su contenido aunque sea de manera clandestina. Ahora les será mejor, pues ya no tendrán que pagar su aporte a la ONAT. No habrá quien pueda controlar esta situación específica porque simplemente no existe ni los medios ni el personal necesario para una cacería de brujas que limite en un grado considerable la compraventa de material delictivo. Tal vez hasta cojan todo esto de pretexto para aumentar el precio (especulo acá) y como siempre los menos beneficiados con las nuevas medidas para "mejorar" son los cubanos del pueblo trabajador.
Afortunados aquellos que pueden disfrutar de las recargas internacionales y que además tiene suscripciones de servicios de streaming. Creo que de momento voy a cambiar de novia, porque a mi suegra con todo esto por ahora no habrá quien la aguante.

You know what I think is going to happen? Sure. The packers will continue to sell their content, even if it is clandestinely. Now it will be better for them, since they will no longer have to pay their contribution to ONAT. There will be no one to control this specific situation because there are simply neither the means nor the personnel necessary for a witch hunt to limit to a considerable degree the purchase and sale of criminal material. Perhaps they will even use all this as a excuse to increase the price (I speculate here) and as always is the people the one who suffers the consecuences of this rules set up by the government.
Fortunate are those who can enjoy international recharges and who also have subscriptions to streaming services. I think I am going to change my girlfriend for the time being, because my mother-in-law will not be able to put up with all this for the time being.
