Since he thought that he is the only one Prophet of the Islam, he did not settle a successor to manage the Islam.
This is wrong information. The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) didn't think that he was the only prophet of Islam, there are many prophets in Islam. Muhammad is the last prophet.
