Martedì 29 agosto, giorno di raccolta funghi, sono andato a fare un giro nell’Altopiano di Asiago con mia mamma appassionata di funghi, ma purtroppo il bottino è stato molto magro: solo un bel porcino e altri 4 molto piccoli.
On Tuesday, August 29, mushroom picking day, I went to the Asiago plateau with my mum who is a appasionate to pick mushroom, but unfortunately the loot was very thin, only a beautiful boletus and 4 others very small.
Così abbiamo deciso di andare a visitare il forte interrotto patrimonio storico della prima guerra mondiale, situato a Campo Rovere di Roana nell’Altopiano di Asiago – Sette Comuni. Un luogo veramente molto bello con un panorama stupendo per la posizione del forte usato durante la guerra come punto di osservazione dei passaggi al confine dell’esercito austro-ungarico. Ci si può arrivare anche in auto ma c’è un bel pezzo di strada bianca da percorrere con cautela o meglio ancora con un suv o fuoristrada, a mio parere consiglio il percorso a piedi o bike lungo i sentieri immersi nella natura del posto.
Qualche anno fa è stato in parte restaurato rendendo così possibile l’accesso ai visitatori al suo interno anche se alcune parti sono ancora pericolanti ma comunque segnalate da appositi cartelli.
So we decided to visit the Fort Interrupted, an historic heritage of the First World War, located at Campo Rovere di Roana in the Asiago Plateau - Seven Communes. A truly beautiful place with a wonderful view of the location of the fort used during the war as a point of observation of the passages at the border of the Austro-Hungarian Army. You can also get there by car but there is a good track of white road to go with caution or better still with a suv or off-road, in my opinion I recommend walking or biking along the trails immersed in the nature of the place.
A few years ago it has been partially restored making it possible for visitors to access it even if some parts are still perky but marked by apposite signals.

Dopo essermi documentato per saperne di più riguardo la sua storia ho letto che è stato costruito nel XIX secolo, in realtà nasce come una caserma militare e successivamente a causa della prima guerra mondiale venne utilizzato come forte per la sua posizione di vedetta.

After being documented to find out more about his story I read that it was built in the nineteenth century, actually it was born as a military barracks and later because of the First World War it was used as a fort for its position of sight.
