Gurudongmar Tso/ Gurudongmar Lake, located at an altitude of about 17,000 ft within the Lachen Dzomsa area in the north district of Sikkim, which is considered to be one of the 108 "Tso-Chen" or major secred lakes of Denjong (Sikkim). As the name of the lake suggests Gurudenotes Guru Padmasambhava and 'Dongmaruophes' red face which means that the lake displays the red faced from of the Guru the angry side which scars away all evil is also believed that the guru touched and blessed the lake and the part of the lake never freezed even during peak winters. the way to Gurudongmar Lake.
