Our ship almost sank! Thank God we were rescued! Daddy you're the best!! Day of the Seafarer #seafarersmatter

There are many factors which can combine to make life at sea dangerous...
Long voyages, fatigue, human error, unknown variables/unseen circumstances, poorly maintained vessel, storms, fire, pirates etc
SEAFARERS are the modern heroes of the sea. Working far from home and family oftentimes for companies whose foremost objective is to maximize profits.

Crossing the Atlantic Ocean we encountered a big storm with 15m high waves mid-Atlantic! Christmas at Sea in our chemical tanker ship! We left Corpus Christi on Christmas Eve! Some days after we made this video we had engine failure! Thankfully we were 100 miles away from Ireland and were rescued by Irish tug boats and towed into port

Please pray for seafarers! And remember the 25th June (6 months from Christmas) every year is the Day of the Seafarer!

What have seafarers brought to you and your country today?

Maritime transport is the backbone of international trade and the global economy. Around 80% of global trade by volume and over 70% of global trade by value are carried by sea and are handled by ports worldwide. These shares are even higher in the case of most developing countries.
