Genesis 23:17-20
So the purchase was made and the land was made Abraham's. The field to the east of Mamre with the cave in it and all the trees that were throughout the area were made his in the presence of the sons of Heth.
Then Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of Machpelah east of Mamre (that is Hebron) in the land of Canaan.
The cave was made his by the sons of Heth. Most English translations call these people Hittites for some reason.
If the post seems repetitive, it is because the actual text keeps saying the same thing over and over in a slightly different way. I guess the writings of this book serve as a deed of sorts.
