Hello Everyone!
In the following I will give you the information you are looking for – the Steemit header size.
- width (total): 1920 px
- height (total): 245 px
On this picture you can see all measurements. Please find below the explanation to the colors used in this model.
Lets start with the BLUE BOXES on the left an on the right – 755 x 245 px.
Both boxes are the main part of the header and will be seen by most users. Not everyone opens the browser in full screen and the ends may be "cut off". So try to place the important elements near the red box.
By the way, lets talk about the RED BOX – 410 x 245 px.
This box will be covered by the "about text field". Keep this in mind if you want to design a header with elements, that you want others to see.
The last part are the YELLOW BARS – 1920 x 20 px.
The header will change a litte when the window is scaled or in full screen. This 40 pixels act as a buffers, but I recommend you to use the height of 245 px anyway.
The PURPLE BAR represents the height in total, and the GREEN BAR the total height minus YELLOW BARS.
