38♥ Sheikh Hasina asked Nur Chowdhury to return to Trudeau
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has requested the Canadian government to send back the absconding accused Nur Chowdhury to death in the murder case of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On Sunday (June 10th) at a meeting, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau requested this. Trudeo told Hasina, the concerned officials are working on this.
On 15 August 1975, the government executed five out of 12 people convicted of killing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for killing his family. Nur Chowdhury, one of the ex-army officers of the death row convicts. He has been running in Canada for a long time.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Quebec on Friday (June 8th) to attend the G-Seven Outreach Conference at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Canada. Twelve leaders of the world including the Prime Minister are invited to join the outreach session.
