Participated in the creation of such an " educational " Wood Slice Mosaic.
Here we learned how to create such panels from " wooden circles ".
This is a collaborative project that several people did.
The base is OSB. Wooden circles are cut with a chainsaw, secured with self-tapping screws.
Since we didn't have much time and effort, the outlines of the future horse and poodle figures were drawn on a large sheet of paper and then transferred to the OSB boards. The lines were improved with a marker.
And only then sawed pieces tried to fit into the figures.
Two types of wood were used. Olive and willow.
Moss was used to imitate grass.
The project was implemented in Croatia.
This was my first experience working with the Wood Slice Mosaic technique.
