My name is Ajay Raj and I along with my hackmates are building a assistant for the drivers WakeShield that helps drivers to stay awake and get alerts when they get sleepy and feel drowsiness in order to prevent chances of accident.
My team HackPixels consists of 5 developers- Yuvraj Singh , Imad Khan , Vansh Agrawal , Praveen Kumar and me. We all are undergrads and are currently pursuing Bachelors in Technology from KIET Group Of Institutions. We got to know about Hive while applying for HackWithDelhi.
Wakeshield helps drivers to prevent accidents and save lives of many including theirs also by keeping them alarmed whenever they get sleepy. So there is very much need of our app to assist driver.
Working
First our sensors keep detecting the face and eyes of the driver and whenever it detects that driver is drowsy it raises an alarm and tries to keep the driver awake .but,if driver fails to show any activity then through
our mobile app an sos signal is sent to the authorities and family members.
All the cars do not have this feature implemented so we want to make this very much cost effective so that drivers can buy and keep themselves safe.

Our overall experience was good we got to learn many things and improved our project to a standard level and we got to learn many things as well like about deployment, how to improve the code etc.
