Fifty years ago, on this morning, Ernesto Che Guevara was executed in Bolivia, a day after he was captured.
The news of the execution of Guevara appeared to be fictional, for years the legend remained difficult to capture. But the news this time was not common. Years after his death, the image of Guevara remained present. Present in the biography that I wrote about him and in the stories that were transmitted by comrades of arms.

The comrades who fought with him in the mountains of Sierra Maestra in Cuba and down to Bolivia. He was also present in a number of songs that immortalized his life and then his death.

The most prominent song in the Arab world is the song "Guevara Matt" by Sheikh Imam, and poet Ahmed Fouad Najm. The song summarizes the relationship between the entire generation of the Arab left and the international revolution. The song that we read, as a popular song for a generation that saw it as an extension of the liberation movements in the Arab world in the 1960s.

The world famous song "Hasta Sembri" (1965) wrote to Guevara but not after his death, but after leaving Cuba to join the fighting in the Congo and Bolivia, written by the Cuban composer Carlos Puebla. The song was considered a fulfillment by the Cuban people of the revolution, which Fidel Katsur took part in getting rid of the dictatorship.
