Manchester City midfielder Toure Yaya will leave the club after the end of this season. The news, which was expected for the player's age, was confirmed by the "Citizens" manager, Josep Guardiola.

Toure Yaya was drawn from Barcelona in 2010, with £ 24m paid for it. He played an important role in winning the first two titles and scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final in 2011. This season, however, the midfielder recorded only 16 matches in all the tournaments.

The final match of the 34-year-old Eagle for City will be the next Wednesday when "citizens" accept Brighton at Etihad.

"Eagle will not stay for the next season, and we will try to beat Brighton for his sake, and he came here at the beginning of this trip, and we've come here for what he did, he was a key player for the club," Guardiola said.
