Hi my dear healthy food lovers ❀️,

My dear friend Chetan Padliya (@chetanpadliya) is hosting a new challenge πŸ‘, the Green Salad Recipe Challenge πŸ₯—. So I decided to take a photo of today's salad. πŸ“·

As always, my focus is on preparing simple, quick and delicious recipes which can be easily incorporated into our daily lives. πŸ˜‹ In order to make it extra healthy, I did not add any salt or oil. The salt will not be missed however, because I also added some lemon juice and vinegar to the dressing. πŸ‘Œ

Ingredients for the salad πŸ“‹

1 head of green lettuce
1 avocado πŸ₯‘
1 cucumber πŸ₯’

Ingredients for the dressing πŸ“‹

2 tbsp tahini
4 tbsp lemon juice πŸ‹
2 tbsp vinegar
1/8 tsp garlic powder (to taste)
1/8 tsp black pepper (to taste)
1/8 red onion
1/4 red bell pepper

πŸ‘‰ And this is how we do it! 😎

Procedure for the dressing

  1. Place 50ml water, 2 tbsp tahini, 1/8 red onion and 1/4 red bell pepper in a food processor. Also add 4 tbsp lemon juice and 2 tbsp vinegar. Process it on high speed until it is nice and smooth.
  2. Strain through a sieve and thin to drizzling consistency with a little water if necessary.
  3. Add garlic powder and black pepper (to taste).

Procedure for the salad πŸ₯—

  1. Place salad leaves, sliced cucumber and diced avocado into a large salad bowl.
  2. Add the dressing and stir it all up!
