#Gravium (GRV)
Prologue:
Gravium was born out of the ashes of another Masternode coin, Desire (DSR).
The "Lead Developer", Lazy_Boozer, was an inactive and outsourcing Dev. The other devs of the Desire team confirmed that he never did any of the work himself. As well as being inactive for months at a time, he controlled the entire pre-mine of DSR (4%) along with the Github, server, Twitter and other social medias. With longer periods between Lazy_Boozer appearing, the other Developers who had no control or say, decided the best course of action was to shutdown the Discord channel and link it to the new coin, Gravium. I had followed DSR from the beginning and to say the handling of the project was outrageous would be an understatement. I lost 10k while Lazy_Boozer drove around in a Tesla he (allegedly) bought with the proceeds of DSR. Gravium was created to fix Lazy_Boozers dishonesty and I have full confidence in the Gravium dev team.

The Breakdown:
Gravium is shaping up to be one of the most exciting masternode coins of 2018. The development team has placed all decisions in the hands of the community which allows for a fair and transparent project. Gravium is the result of the community's wishes, everything from the algorithm to the payout scheme was put to a vote. This coupled with a very active discord channel and ever helpful community leaders, the confidence levels in the project are sky high. Since the separation from the previous shambolic coin, the dev team knew that this time around was going to be different. With that mindset, they have gone step by step with the community through the development stage to deliver a fair and trustworthy coin that will have investors confidence levels on a one-way ticket to the moon.
The Gravium community will have a swap period for old DSR holders to swap for GRV at a 1:1 ratio. This will run from the 23.6.2018 to the 6.6.2018 with only DSR coins from block #107900 and before being eligible. All collected DSR will be sold to help fund the future exchange listings, development work and general promotion of the coin.

The software development side has been in overdrive with the Gravium Core wallet to be available on launch, boasting the standard features you would expect from any Dash fork coin, namely PrivateSend. The most exciting aspect of this project is the implementation of the X16R hashing algorithm.
In short, X16R algorithm consists of 16 hashing algorithms operating in a chain manner, with the next algorithm dependent on the last 8 bytes of the hash of the previous block. This random generation of the next algorithm ensures that specialised ASIC miners cannot effectively hash blocks, meaning that the mining of the network will be decentralised worldwide, instead of in the hands of a few wealthy ASIC rich groups. This is the way of the future, and the true goal of cryptocurrencies, to take the power away from the elite and place in back in the hands of regular people.

Masternodes will cost 1000 Gravium (GRV) and holders will be happy see that the block rewards are in favour of masternodes (54.75%). This incentivises the holding of coins in masternodes which will help with lightning fast network speeds and provide a locked up percentage of supply. The dev team has also streamlined the setup process of the masternode for Gravium. As a person with many masternodes (which can at times be a pain to setup) this is a small detail that will make the average person capable of setting up their own masternode from home. As with all new coins, the ROI (Return of Investment) will be high coin wise the early on so I'd suggest anyone reading this gets in fast to capitalise on the low masternode numbers. This coin will easily see 1000 masternodes in the first 6 months.
I found the Community Leaders on Discord, lemanyax and Crypto_Monk to be active and ready to answer any questions about the project promptly and precisely. The Lead Developer Chinafreak is in charge of the wallet development work along with Julian, and barrystyles has implemented the X16R algorithm on the project. nothingtoseehere handled the easy to install masternode install script. The dev team has made it clear they will keep the community updated on everything so there should be exciting things to come across 2018/19 and beyond.
