Today I'm very grateful for the nature
God has been so kind to us, especially when talking about agriculture.

I have always like agriculture and when the opportunity to choose it arise, I didn't think it twice. We feed the nation.

But there are challenges facing the agricultural sectors too, and one of those factors is weather condition. When we are talking about weather conditions in agriculture, Rainfall is the most crucial factors to be considered.

My melon farm

Major problem we are facing in agricultural sectors this year especially in the western side of Nigeria here, is rainfall. The availability of water to plant is limited and it's seriously affecting crop production.

I'm very grateful for the choice I made when I'm planning what to plant at the start of the raining season. I decided to plant melon and after that I can also plant maize.

As for melon, it doesn't even like too much of water, so the weather was perfect for the growth of melon.

Now that rainfall is coming back to it normal, my melon is ripe for harvest. And there is still plenty of time to plant another crop before the end of the year.
