what if every day were thanks giving?

In America people celebrate thanks giving, Canada and USA have separate dates for this "holiday". It's sad because the premise is gratitude, however, the tradition comes after the massacre of the natives of this land as the colonists wreaked havoc upon their arrival.2901-090541.jpg

I think gratitude needs to be celebrated every day. I also think that having a holiday that does not properly commemorate the assimilation and genocide of many tribes of people who lived respecting the land speaks volumes of the dysfunction of humanity post colonization.

What are you grateful for?
How do you show gratitude?
What impacts have colonization had in your home?
