I think Innovation is an act of us to produce a better product or result through which a change and addition. In business, this innovation is necessary to increase and expand our business quickly.
On this occasion after I read the blogger's blogger, Al Faruq Ibn Zainuddin, I was interested to review about the history of Google Adsense. Which in it there are values of innovation that we may be able to take.
About Google Adsense actually for me is not alien or new to my ears, because Google Adsense is one of Google's famous products for Bloggers or Publisher.
To start, we start the history in 2003, why in 2003 ?. In this year we get the news that Pyra Labs has been acquired by Google. Who does not know Pyra Labs, they are Blogger pengers with blogger.com addresses. Which until now is famous for free blog hosting with blogspot.com subdomain.
Then after this acquisition precisely on February 1, 2003, it was not long later or exactly two months later on April 1, 2003, Google was re-acquired Applied Semantics is the owner and creator of Adsense technology.
But why this acquisition is done by Google ?, Is not it not difficult if Google makes this kind of technology more sophisticated and better than them. the answer is certainly not difficult, but why must acquire the two companies ?.
Finally now I begin to understand this, about one of Google's actions in the past 12 years. And the thing that I realized it was "Creating an Innovation". My blogger friend once said that Innovation makes us move 10 times faster, and this in my opinion is true and proven.
And this is exactly what Google does. Creating an Innovation that makes a new start for publishers today. So that created the name of Google Adsense, from an innovation between Blogger and Adsense.
Suppose if Google decided to create the same technology with Blogger and Adsense, then what happens is the news a lot of time, effort, and cost is not small. Not even demanding the possibility after Google finishes to make better new technology, simultaneously Blogger and Adsense have also progressed further and better, and they may decide to collaborate with each other.
So maybe now we will not recognize the name Google Adsense, but maybe we will know it by the name of Blogger Adsense or Blog Ads, etc., is not this possibility can happen ?, although this is just my assumption only.
From the above history is definitely a step that made Google as a perpetrator of online business is very appropriate. In the business world competition and threats there must be, but not we make a barrier, but make it a fuel to make business bigger, advanced and growing.
And for a friend who claims as a businessman, whether we will be PUAS just by being a businessman only. do we have no desire to create Innovations like them ?.
So that we will not only be business people who run their business with the rules they create, but we certainly can also create business with our own rules and become a more successful businessman from them.
