Gobbledygook

I rewound that part of his speech when I was transcribing. He said something that sounded unintelligible, at first thought, but he wasn't that kind of a speaker.

So I rewound it a couple of times because I had the gut feeling he was saying a real word. So I made the best I can, googled gobble dook, no results, gobble gook -- bam!

Gobbledygook! or gobbledegook

It is an informal word that means, " ... language that is meaningless ... nonsense ..."

Synonyms: gibberish, blather
