So, for all my readers that wear glasses or contacts, what is the deal with the pricing? It seems so all over the board to me in ways.
So currently, a good set of glasses can run you anywhere from $700-$1000 depending on what you go for. But then if i look at prescription safety glasses they are only about $200? Glasses that are stronger, better scratch coatings and comes with side shields....
Then go buy a new Iphone, $700-$800 and look at what it can do. you have a mobile tv, computer, stereo, etc Why is it glasses cost the same as something as high tech as a smartphone, yet they are a cheap metal/plastic frame with plastic/glass lenses.
Am I the only one that feels a bit put off by this???
