En el Arte Como en la Vida
En los últimos 3 años la reinvención ha sido un ejercicio frecuente, en mi caso va desde escribir, diseñar, coser y contribuir con otros para el desarrollo de su talento, proyecto o idea. Pero una constante muy importante para mi en todo eso es recordarle a las personas las razones por las cuales empieza un proyecto, para luego conectar y organizar sus ideas.

The reinvention has been frequent in the last 3 years in my professional life: writing, designing, sewing and helping other to develop their ideas; with the constant to remind people their reasons to keep on working in their project, and then connecting and organizing their ideas.
Esta vez me tocó evaluar y aplicar lo antes dicho en mi y negocio que apenas crece, así nació: Dilo con tu polera (remera, franela). Se trata de decorar una camisa de manera personalizada con 3 o 5 cosas que le guste a la persona. El bordado, patchwork, dibujo y pintura son las técnicas que uso para hacer la composición.
This was my time to review and practice all that in myself and new business, this how “Say it with your t-shirt” was born. I personalize your t-shirt with 3 or 5 things that you like. Embroidery, patchwork, drawing and painting are the techniques I use to make the composition.
Pero ojo, esto no es solo pegar las imágenes y ya, todo tiene su paso a paso:
- Identificar y seleccionar las imágenes que me da la persona.
- Dibujar el concepto del diseño de la polera en papel.
- Hacer los patrones necesarios según las imágenes a usar en el diseño.
- Probar y ajustar todo en la polera antes de pegarlos.
- A pegar.
But this is more than paste or sew a piece of fabric:
- Identify and select images related to what the client wants.
- Draw the concept in a paper.
- Make the patterns needed.
- Test and fix the all design on the t-shirt
- Time to paste the composition.
Si bien es cierto esto no es nada nuevo, la diferencia lo marca lo que pida el cliente y el concepto junto al estilo artístico para personalizar la polera. Este es un consejo que les comparto a todos siempre, la clave está en cómo decides tu expresar tu arte.
Yes, you are right, this is nothing new but, but its difference is in what the client asks, the concept and artistic style chosen to personalize the t-shirt. This is an advice that I always share with you, how you decide to show your art is the key.
Aquí les muestro mi primer pedido, es para un fanático del fútbol y del café, quien disfruta pasear en moto, también es muy expresivo sobre la conexión con su país y ciudad natal, Cumaná-Venezuela. Esto me permitió jugar con los paisajes nocturnos estrellados, la bandera venezolana y una tacita de café.

My first order is for a Dad, he is a football fan who loves coffee, motorcycles and he always talks about his love for Cumaná-Venezuela. There you can see how I create a cup of coffee with the venezuelan flag and a night landscape full of stars.
También le agregué a un motociclista con tela de jean, alli le bordé sus iniciales, las de su hijo y esposa, como para aportar un detalle mucho más sentimental. Finalmente, con bordado a máquina de coser le hice la pelota de fútbol, aunque no me crean fue la imagen que más me costó.
Also, I put a motorcyclist made with jean, I embroidered his initials, those of his son and wife, as a sentimental detail. Finally, with sewing machine embroidery I made the soccer ball, believe it or not that was the hardest one for me.
Esta pieza es regalo para el día del padre, así que me toca esperar hasta esa fecha para ver saber su reacción. Pero, ustedes cuéntenme ¿que tal les parece?
