Nomination of Hannah Yeoh as Pakatan Harapan candidate for P117 Segambut and the opening of Pakatan Harapan P117 Segambut Operations Centre

This morning, I have been officially confirmed by the Election Commission as Pakatan Harapan’s candidate for the parliamentary seat of P117 Segambut.

Together with 150 residents and supporters, we began our 2km march from the National Science Centre to the Nomination Centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Damansara. There, my nomination was proposed by senior lawyer and prominent human rights advocate Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan, and seconded by Nurul Nuha Anwar, daughter of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. My nomination was received and confirmed by returning officer YBhg. Datin Dr. Noor Akma binti Shabudin.

The Pakatan Harapan P117 Segambut Operations Centre will also begin its operations today. The centre is located at 5-2-2, Jalan 6/6D, Medan Putra Business Centre, Bandar Menjalara, 52200 Kuala Lumpur and will be open to the public daily from 5:00pm to 9:00pm throughout the 11-day campaign period.

This centre will serve as a base for volunteers to coordinate election campaign activities and as a location for members of the public to sign up as volunteers in our election campaign in Segambut.

I would like to thank everyone for their support today. I hope that you will continue to march with me and Pakatan Harapan in the coming days as we move forward in reclaiming our nation.
