Garden Update! First Steemit garden update...

I own a group on facebook where I post updates daily on my garden. I've decided to start posting here to steemit :). I hope all of you enjoy the pictures and watching the plants grow. I also post advice and videos of my techniques. All organic methods.

This is a jalapeno that I have re-vegged and kept alive through the winter from last year. It is doing very well now. The trunk sure is getting thick. I am definitely moving it to a bigger pot soon. She needs it. The pot it is in has gotten brittle and broken because of weather exposure. I do realize there are a couple aphids on there. For the most part the predatory insects outside come over and wipe them out. We have a high population of snakeflies here. Aphids are their favorite snack. I saw one out on my porch the other day going to town on em haha. It was great. I do pick them off myself too but overall they dont hurt the plant because I keep them under control via soap sprays and just squashing them with my fingers. They are softbodies insects. The jalapenos are the only ones that have a problem with the aphids. They dont touch any of my other plants. Its quite odd. When I do notice them too they are usually focused on the flowers. They are attracted to them.
