Gaming: The Lack Of Ending In Nintendo Games

Never was the expression it is not the destination but the journey more true than when it comes to Nintendo games. They were great. Fun experiences that were pick and play. They even aged well as older games are more than just nostalgia. But there was one thing that Nintendo didn't work too hard on: their endings. They were usually one screen with some text. Maybe a thank you and that was it. No animations or anything. Just a few words to end the story.

The most infamous was a winner is you. This game didn't even bother to translate it properly. This was for a wrestling game title Pro Wrestling and the ending even turned into a meme. But it was not like other games were better. Even Mario was just one screen of congratulations. I am not complaining or anything, beating the game was the reward. Those hours and hours you put in to finally see that ending screen. But still, maybe a little 8-bit video could have been a nice add-on.

What game did you beat where you were disappointed with the ending?
