Last August, the game 'Uncharted: The Lost Legacy' officially launched exclusively for the PlayStation 4 console. This game is a standalone expansion of 'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' released in May 2016.
Therefore, as an expansion game it is natural to think that this game will not have long playing time. Unlike the main game Uncharted 4 that can provide hours of very long play for players.
But, Naughty Dog was using the short play time with a variety of features in the game is satisfactory. Curious what? Here are reviews of the coil for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
Storyline
Set against India's tropical forestland, we control the main protagonist, a deft woman named Chloe Frazer. He works as a treasure hunter and works with a friend named Nadine Ross to help him find a legendary ivory artifact from the god Ganesha.
Here, Chloe had to deal with Asav, an army leader who also searched for the same old artifacts. Asav wanted to use the ivory to voice the revolution in India. On each of his journeys, Chloe will meet the Asav troops several times in the ruins that give clues to the existence of Ganesha's ivory.
After stealing the map from Asav, Chloe and Nadine follow the traces of the existence of the artifact through symbols of Hindu weapons, such as the Ganesha trident, the Shiva arrow, and the Parashurama ax. Chloe uses a disc stolen from Asav as the key to unlocking the guides.
As the adventure continues and closer to the end of Ganesha's ivory, Chloe-Nadine's fight with Asav becomes intense. Especially when there is little conflict between Chloe and Nadine after meeting Sam Drake, Nathan Drake's brother who appears as a surprise in this game.
The short storyline of this game feels straightforward and intense from start to finish. The conflict towards the end of the game becomes the perfect seasoning flavor as a refresher in the way of the story.
Gameplay and Visual
Uncharted gameplay system: The Lost Legacy is the same as the previous Uncharted 4 series. Carrying a third person perspective aka third person, players can use weapons, beat, and kill the opponent in secret. There are various weapons and explosive materials that will enliven the fight in this game.
In addition, players can also swing from one hill to another, jump, climb, and various other acrobatic acts. All actions offered from Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is one of the flagship of the game, including how Chloe has to uncover the various puzzles that are present in the game.
The map in The Lost Legacy is even wider than Uncharted 4 itself. To explore, Chloe can drive a jeep that can hit a variety of heavy terrain on the way.
Another advantage of this game is the visual quality that ciamik and spoil the eye. Details of trees, sky, water, face characters, sweat, until the wet clothes when exposed to water to treat that makes this game feels quite realistic.
Beautiful scenery found in the game can be immortalized through a camera phone that always carried Chloe. Another visual quality stands out from the cutscene that exposes quite naturally the expression of the characters in the game.
Deficiency
From the experience of playing this game, I think the shortcomings of the most felt of course short story path. Although it must be understood still remember this game only expansion. Maybe Naughty Dog purposely made it like this so we are more curious about 'Uncharted 5' later? Can be.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy proved to be a successful exciting adventure action ala Uncharted 4. Despite the short storyline, I am satisfied to have played this game because of the various advantages described above.
Surely this game is going to make me impatiently waiting for the fifth series of Uncharted. Hopefully there is a new atmosphere given in the next series, and also a variety of surprises that can be a fun update in it.
