Oh me too. Seeing the game that I was used to seeing as squatty 8-bit sprites was now squatty 3D models! The first time you see Midgar, the summons and many of the cutscenes were really advanced for the time.
They have not aged well, sad to say. Hopefully that remake of VII eventually gets made.
