Runescape - The game of our childhood now comes to mobile and tablets. Android/Apple

If you were born in the 80s and 90s, you probably spent a lot of time since 2001 playing Runescape. The addictive MMORPG classic has been developing for many years. In their Twitter account they announced that Runescape will finally get on mobile phones and tablets, but that's not all. Jagex will also allow players to have so-called cross-platform gaming, so what you do on your mobile can be a few minutes later on a tablet or even a computer.

A great news is that Jagex gradually releases both a RS3 and old-school version of the game, so if you just grew up at that old school, which is more than likely, your dream will come true. The old-school version should be available for mobile in the winter, and in 2018, a more streamlined game will come. The Runescape community has never left the game, just last year, the popular MMORPG recorded 250 million registered accounts and was written to the Guinness Book of Records and Runescape was also rewarded for titles for continually updating game content. Jagex definetly knew what they were doing, because with the arrival of the mobile version, a number of fans will return to the Runescape.

The current main version of RuneScape is sometimes known as RuneScape 3. This game runs as a regular desktop program, but older versions were browser-based. There's also Old School RuneScape, which is based on the 2007 version of the game. It's still maintained by the developers, too. Both are coming to mobile, but the simpler Old School version will arrive first in late 2017. The full RuneScape client be released in 2018. You can register your interest on the RuneScape site.
