There is a book just released that covers a whole of Computer Role Playing Games history, from 1981 until 2015, this is an epic read for anyone who ever played any of those games. It is also very helpful if you don't know what to play these days, this book should be an excellent reference point on what to chose if you missed some of the classics, it covers absolutely everything.
There is no hardcover for this book yet, it is only available in digital format, you can download it for free and use Acrobat Reader to read it. A fair warning, there is still some work to be done on the book, also a PDF file is 100mb large. I don't want to put any links for the book, you will just have to find it yourself if you really want to.
This is a monumental work and when a hardcover releases this will be something to give your kids and grandkids to show them how it was used to be done. Once the hardcover version is out it is a must buy, at least for me it is.
