How much can you currently earn playing Gods Unchained? I've been paying attention to GUC (Gods Unchained) for over a year, and sparingly playing the game, however with the latest updates, I decided to jump back onto the battle board and see what I could earn if I played this free game a few days a week.
$GODS Token Launch
Recently Gods Unchained launched their $GODS token, and new play to earn incentives to earn this token(as of Nov 2021). The initial period of earning the token is said to last for 9 weeks.Previous P2E Mechanics
The forge, which was previously the only mechanism to play to earn with Gods Unchained, by utilizing FLUX earned in pvp and forging rare cards to sell on the marketplace, This worked until ETH gas fees caused the GUC team to close forge (which was costing more than cards in gas) in the best interest of the gamers. However, now, after the implementation of Immutable X, and the new $GODS token, which also launched on Coinbase, today, and the reopening of forge on Immutable X (utilizing $GODS instead of FLUX), GUC has quickly become a P2E powerhouse that everyone should be paying attention to.
New P2E Mechanics
The new P2E incentives for the $GODS token can be found on the GUC website here. These inventives require players to play a minimum of 20 games and win 7, within a week, and reward participants in $GODS tokens. The tokens can be claimed 5 days after the incentive time period.
On top of that, players are able to earn card packs when they level up, or just for competing in or winning so many games during GUC's weekend events.
1 Week of Playing | Reward
Without including the cards that I earned and their possible worth, I am able to claim 3.38 $GODS token after my first week meeting the P2E incentive requirements. At the time of writing 3.38 $GODS tokens is worth $29.00 USD (on the back of a 75% 24 climb, due to Coinbase launch of $GODS token).
