Name "Sub-Zero" has been given to two different characters in the Mortal Kombat universe. Both are attacked by a broken Sub-Zero brother, Noob Saibot, and his Smoke counterpart, but are able to defeat them in Mortal Kombat. Unchained Frost attacked Kuei Lin to kill Sub-Zero, which froze and hid him.
In Armageddon's Konquest mode, Sub-Zero challenges Taven to fight, after both attacking the Lin Kuei Palace.
