How to grow your Steam library for free, step-by-step

Anyone can do this, so let's just dive right in.

Tutorial

You're going to need:

  • A steemit account
  • A steam account
  • An opinion about the games you play
  • Enough time to write a small article (10 minutes)

This tutorial assumes you know how to use your steem and steam account.

Step 1: The article

Does the game you've been playing suck for reasons!? You can criticize it. Was Resident Evil 4 a let down to you as a survival horror fan? You can write about how it should have been. Do you want more Mega Man X-like online multiplayer fangames? Let the world know.

Whatever crosses your mind can turn into an article. Just hit that create new post button and write two paragraphs about your opinion. You can even use a picture if you want.

Step 2: Engage

After you publish it, go to @opgaming's Discord server (here), comment and/or upvote some of the other posts and leave the link to your own. Supporting others makes them want to support you.

Step 3: Cash out

Take for look my latest game shop post and ask about any games you might be interested in buying. You can also go to @ahmadmanga's shop threads, the @dgameshop bot and the DGameMarket website.

Step 4: Don't just repeat

Instead of straight up buying a game, you can save up until you get $1~$5 STEEM and join one of the infinite curation / upvote services like @incinboost and @steembasicincome. You can stack registrations making the rest of your gaming life much cheaper.

Because you can support someone else when you register, you can choose to name me. Let me know and I'll pay you half of it or do the same to you, specially if you choose @incinboost. Just give me a heads up before you do it.
