What happened in week 4?!
SPOILERS FOR NA LCS AHEAD
So this week was the one with some really big games, if you’ll recall, from last week’s predictions. The odd thing about this week...the ones I got wrong, seemed all but sure things. Let’s take a look.
OPT takes down CLG, sure they basically had the same record, but CLG seemed like the better team by far. Then 100 thieves drop a game to FLY?? And then to GGS?!?! What is going on here? This was a team fighting for top 3, losing to the bottom teams. I would never have predicted 100 to go 0-2 this week.
That being said, OPT has had some close games the past few weeks that implies their ranking isn’t as horrible as it looks. FLY also has been playing with a substitute midlaner, perhaps they are on an upward trend.
TL loses to both the top teams this week. A bit surprising, I figured they had the momentum to at least takedown FOX. C9 completely dominated them, but the FOX game was relatively close. Regardless this week just firms up the top three as C9, FOX, and TL.

All that being said, let’s look at week 5 and make some predictions.
Really, I think C9 will solidify their lead this week. TSM is not showing up yet, and FOX struggled a bit with TL. This leads me to believe C9 shouldn’t have a problem going with another 2-0 week.
CG is also primed for a 2-0 week if they play well. Same with TL, a pretty easy schedule for them.
