Virtual reality is no longer the niche market it once was. Long gone are the days of homemade accessories and half-baked software mods. The virtual reality community is done with “good enough”. VRDominate was founded on the belief that VR is the future and VR users deserve more. VR users don't simply bow down to big gaming and accept what’s given to them. The attitude of the VR community has been “if you won’t make the product the way we want it… We will just make it ourselves” as most of us have for years in order to fill a need. However the VR market has gained unprecedented growth and the industry has taken notice, bringing AAA software and gaming companies to the table. VRDominate seeks to be at the forefront of this recent development, giving both users and developers a means of creating and improving on VR accessories and software. Developers have an open forum to speak directly to their audience and users get direct communication with the developers themselves.
We refer to our VR Influncers, Product Designers, and Developers as our "Verified Members". To become a member these companies and brands must show a passion for VR, and provide a quality product or content that we would recommend. We allow anyone to apply from fledgling YouTubers to those multi-million subscribers. We vet every "Verified Member" through an application and interview process to make sure that they back their claims with more than just words. Once the applicants pass their application and interview their information and a recomendation is sent to the "VRDominate Council", an everchanging, anonymous group of 2 Influencers, 2, Product Designers, and 2 Developers. The "VRDominate Council" each cast their vote on whether to admit the applicant. In the case of a tie, our community manager, Asteel, will cast the tiebreaking vote. We want you to know that anyone that is a "Verified Member" of VRD will provide you with quality products, content, or gameplay. Each and every "Verified Member" has passed our application, interview process and been voted in by a counsil of their peers. In the future we hope VRDominate will be a literal symbol of quality that you as a users, can trust on future product or content.
