Diablo Immortal Brings Classic to Mobile

Blizzard Entertainment certainly have taken their sweet time in bringing Diablo to mobile devices, haven’t they? For those that don’t know yet, they announced Diablo Immortal at Blizzcon 2018 - the first Diablo game for mobile devices. No, playing the PlayStation One version via your PlayStation Portable or PS Vita does not count. Sorry to burst your bubble there. Diablo Immortal has just entered pre-registration so hit the links after the jump.

According to Android Police, the Worldstone was broken into several pieces at the end of Diablo II thanks to the Archangel Tyrael. It was apparently not broken into small enough pieces because those chunks still hold enough magical power to draw the bad guys to them who yearn to bring them to Diablo. This results in the land of Sanctuary (where Diablo is set) to be ripe for an invasion. Something you now must correct.

Now, the interesting part is Diablo Immortal is set between Diablo II and Diablo III, including featuring some areas that you may have ventured through in both of those games. This should be interesting if they do some post/pre versions of those areas for the hardcore of the hardcore fans to enjoy. Surely they will.

Anyhow, those that plan to take on the quest of Diablo Immortal can expect six classes (barbarian, monk, wizard, crusader, demon hunter, and necromancer), and tons of enemies to take out. The cool thing is, Blizzard are making Diablo Immortal as a massively multiplayer online game so you can play with friends and band together.

Me, I am pre-registering for Diablo Immortal right now.
