Remember SecretJobberWhiz
I remember it like it was yesterday,
Feb twenty eight was the date,
When three of us descended into the pit of chance,
To test our luck; challenge our fate
Tough day at work, some chores at home,
I almost missed watching these #games of luck;
The game that was to be played last Friday,
Thanks to gremlins till this day was stuck.
But fate is fate,
and I was not late;
Lucky to see @Rukkie in the meeting room,
Made me wonder to check what's goin' on.
And then @Dreemsteem appears,
To start #DeelOrNoDeel and give a shot,
To @amberkashif, our secret weapon,
To try and crack the 30k pot.
It started well,
As in her first try
She wiped out a lot of the lower cases;
Her next try was not so lucky
as expected
and a few large sums were out of the races.
And then the captain started tempting,
and dangling a lot of dreems;
And while many of us viewers felt the deel was great,
Secret had other plans it seems,
She wanted to tempt her fate.
She went on declining the Cap'n,
Even when the 30k pot was lost;
She did not stop when 15k was gone,
And declined all the offers from Cap'n the host.
And finally we had
Just three pots to get a vibe or feel;
12, 2250 and 12k were left
I though she would take the 4754 deel
But no, not Secret,
she was on a roll,
Go big or go empty
Seemed to be her goal
So first she declines,
then throws out the 12 dreem pot;
and we are left with 2250,
and the 12k moonshot
And then when we all think
She will hold onto her first choice;
She goes ahead and swaps away,
And suddenly there is zero noise.
We all wait with bated breath,
To See what the game will say;
And lo and behold tis' wonderful
As it was Secret's day!!!
12k Dreems in her pocket,
while multitasking with cooking;
Secret weapon set the tempo,
Of the next two booking!
Then a trivia round was had,
and we remembered dear @merit.ahama
How she had ventured till the end like Secret,
And won 0.003! oh dear mama!
But it was all in good fun,
as the game is for entertainment;
And #remembermerit is now a new tag,
In a permanent #dreemerdeel stars fitment.
So all jokes and remembrances aside,
We played fastest finger to a number;
And I was lucky to win by a millisecond,
To play as a lucky audience member
Lucky to view this game,
and now lucky to get the seat;
I was so sure that my luck would run out,
I aimed to win 0.001 and have a record feat.
Secret had blazed the brave path,
All I had to do was follow;
So I went ahead and slashed my own pattern,
Choosing cases to throw down the hollow.
And I was lucky again,
though I did lose 30k pot;
I lost the two lowest ones early,
And I was a bit miffed about those.
(aside: If I was practical I should have taken the 7092 Dreems deel :D )
(aside: And then I went ahead and declined 9450. my heart was pumping. would have taken it if not for the adrenaline from the earlier game :D )
(aside: and promptly lost the 30k)
So I kept playing rashly,
What others might call boldly;
Till I finally reached the last choice,
With 15k still in the kitty!!!
I had 11 in my hand, could keep it close,
Or swap to 25 and chance the Flow;
So duplicated secret again once more,
and swapped out of 11 like a hot potato.
Wow! lightning strikes again,
And we hear Dreemie's screams of joy;
Coz 15k is mine to keep,
Mine all mine, Oh BOY!!!
And all of us Dreemers are laughing,
And crying out of pleasure and fun;
Could this day get any better,
Well it could if @emrysjobber Won!
And we enjoy some time of glee,
And #remembermerit;
And #remembernkem, and #weaponwhiz too,
And then we are quieten and sit.
For its @Emrysjobber's chance,
And we all pray for the 30K;
And he keeps joking that stress is too much,
And if he gets a good deel he is OK :)
Before we know it the game starts again,
And Emrys is on the hot seat;
And he declines the first offer after choosing 14,
And then goes ahead and drops a lot of the higher sweets!
But he soldiers on,
And declines and declines;
Though he said he would deel,
He continues to play just fine!
And then 30k is lost,
That too in case number 11;
But the mob is in a frenzy now,
While Emrys is in his own zen.
The offers form cap'n are low,
And E keeps declining;
And then he gets a 7320 deel,
But he keeps his eye on winning!
Now with two choices of 30 and 15k,
The cap'n offers 7515 Dreems,
But our brave dreemer says nothing doing
He is here for the top cream!!!
So the Cap'n offers the swap,
And Emrys takes it;
Unlucky for some,
For others 13 makes it.
Everyone is screaming,
The crowd goes wild;
Three shots,
Three goals!
To call it a miracle is mild.
Our @dreemsteem loves blessing all she can,
And looks like the game gods got her command;
And so Secret, and Whiz, and Jobber all won,
A Dreem moolah rain showered on the #secretjobberwhiz band.
