Before I discuss about its future, first we have to know its history. As we all know Steemit was created on 24 Mar 2016 (Three years before) and was gained name and fame in a few days. After few months it was hacked by hackers and 250 Steemit accounts were compromised and account holder with the steemit admin were faced financial loss. Also in 2018, financial difficulties again faced and cuts the remuneration of the Steemit staffs. Steemit again recover its losses and gain its name and fame. After surviving hard difficulties again and again, now its stand in its own leg and not depending others.
From the above data, it is clearly emerged that the future of steemit is bright and clear to rule over the world in social media.
