Teenage children who ruin holidays for their younger siblings!
That's who, dammit.
A 5 y/o should never question the commercial magic of the holidays.
That is, until the parents want to ruin it.
So please take full advantage of April Fool's Easter. We have not had one since 1956 and won't have another until 2029. That is 11 years you will have to wait to pay back those pesky teenagers if you miss it this year.

The trick is to tell the teenagers you put a five dollar bill in each plastic egg
Of course there will be no hidden eggs, just hours of quiet time while they are outside looking
