Stages of flight fury

There's nothing like having a connecting flight cancelled or getting to the gate a minute after the door closes...

Here are phases of emotion that this provokes in 100% of people polled for this study (1 person so far)

The anticipation of landing knowing that your transfer will be tight:

That Olympic record breaking sprint getting off the first flight:

Getting to the closed gate after a marathon run from Terminal A to Terminal Z:

Seeing the smug almost smiling face of the gate employee thinking 'you were too slow, fat ass':

When they tell you the next flight is in 3 hours and there's a chance it might be overbooked:

then having to be nice so that they squeeze you on the next flight, but not really meaning it:

While inside you're all:

Going to the bar and having that pissed off drink, cause alcohol always fixes everything:

Ordering weird airport food even though you're not hungry because 3 hours have never felt so long and you feel stranded and alone:

Finally getting on the next flight and telling the gate agent you'll never fly their airline again while you know that's 100% false:

That glorious feeling of taking off and leaving all that misery behind:

At least until next time...
