Hello everyone !
It's @prettyjules158 reporting for #wafrica from Benin City, Edo state Nigeria.
Here is an update on ‘PROVIDING AID TO INTERNALLY DISPLACED PEOPLE IN NIGERIA’
I went to the market with @jaff8 and @juli1 to buy the budgeted items.
In our previous visit ( update 1 ) we bought mats worth N50,000, equivalent of $188.05.
15 small size mat @ N1,300 = N19,500
8 medium size mat @ N2,500 = N20,000
3 big size mat @ N3,500 = 10,500.
From our previous payouts we were able to generate rewards worth $105, we got anonymous donations of $163 Making a total of $268 donated to the project for update 2.
After receiving the payout from our previous post, we went to market.
So we bought a total of 9 mosquito nets, 15 mosquito repellants and 25 mats.
9 mosquito nets @ N3,000 = N27,000
15 mosquito repellants @ N500 = N7,500
7 small sizes mats @ N1,300 = N9,100
10 medium sizes mats @ N2,500 = N25,000
8 large sizes mats @ N3,500 = N28,000
We spent a total N92,100 ($268) in purchasing these items.
First, we went to the chemical shop to get 15 mosquitoe repellants.
Next, we needed to buy the additional mats. We returned to the shop we purchased some from last week. We were able to buy 25 more mats of different sizes; 7 small sizes, 10 medium sizes and 8 large sizes.
The goal is to give out 100 mats, 25 mosquito nets and 15 insect repellants. So far we have spent about N146,600 ($407) on 51 mats, 9 mosquito nets and 15 mosquito repellants. Which is about 50% of the project completed.
Our future updates will cover netting as well as the remaining mats yet to purchase.
Thanks to everyone who have supported one way or another. Thanks to Fundition for the support. Special thanks to @surfyogi for his guidance in achieving this project. Thanks to @jaff8 and @juli1 for honouring the invitation to assist me.
