It's your girl @prettyjules158 here with update on the internally displaced persons in Nigeria. (Mission Road, Benin City, Edo state) I'm so happy to update everyone on the efforts made so far, and also on our next distribution plans.
With the payout of our previous post, which was about 39.759 Steem (Steem Power inclusive) and 6.219 SBD we were able to buy some items. The proceeds were sent to my account (@prettyjules158) so that I would be able to access the funds.
The Steem was converted to naira at a rate of N400 naira, while the SBD at a rate of N350 naira.
For Steem, 39.759 × N400 = N15,903.6
While for SBD, 6.219 × N350 = N2,176.65
Total = N18,080.25 naira (51$)
With N18,000 I was able to buy 6 mosquito nets. A mosquito net cost N3,000/item. It was quite a journey getting the nets, most stores I visited had only one or two so the prices were outrageous. I had to talk to friends, before one could recommend a place for me to get the nets.
After getting the nets I felt so delighted and accomplished. It wouldn't have been possible without your assistance.

We plan on buying more items with our outstanding payout. The items would consist of mosquito repellants and additional mats too. We plan on leaving a mark on their lives with joint assistance.
Our goal is to give out 100 mats, 25 mosquitoe nets and 15 insect repellants.
