Hello all, this is a basic review for the Fuelly app that you can download for free on your mobile phone. Every time you fill up, you log you vehicles total milage, how many gallons and the price per gallon.
What you get is your average miles per gallon, a historical graph of the price per gallon and total costs per fill up.

You can also log in all of the maintenance dates and costs into the app. You can do a search by tag for a past service.

You can add multiple vehicles, motorcycles, etc... There is also a reminder tab to see the maintenance tasks that are due.
Now the bottom line is to get the most efficient gas mileage out of your vehicle.
- Make sure your tires are inflated to the optimum pressure. Low pressure = lower gas mileage.
- Oil changes: I do my own and use 100% full synthetic. (Lasts longer/does not break down as fast as conventional oil)
- Clean your air filter. It is free to do and will allow more air to get into your engine rather than choking it off.
- Easy on the gas pedal. Do not accelerate hard from a stop sign or light.
- Coast to a stop if you can do so safely. This is hard to do when someone is directly behind you.
- Do not carry any unnecessary weight in your vehicle. More weight = more gas.
