Recently I switched from KeePass2, which I used for many years to a faster alternative "KeePassXC".
KeePassXC is a handy and simple password manager that securely (AES) saves your passwords and can generate secure passwords. All data are encrypted and stored in an encrypted form on the hard disk.
The application is available under Linux, Windows, macOS.
